Happy weekend

I'm getting over a nasty cold virus- hence the quiet round here.  Forgot how really awful a cold is as I haven't had one in years....

Wishing you all great weekend!  It's getting pretty chilly around here, might be time to get the tree out:)

A 60's moment

I have a definite weakness for all things 60's.
Not sure where I spotted this, but it's lovely head to toe.

Vintage Chanel perfume bottle

I felt a definite twinge of excitement when I came across this handsome looking shop on Etsy: Mademoiselle Chipotte, based in Belgium.

I spent a great deal of my spare time digging through charity stores and second hand markets in London, where I grew up- so I've always held old things dear.  These empty vintage Chanel perfume bottles are exquisite, as is the photograph of them- they took my heart away!

Perhaps Mademoiselle Chipotte would like to photograph my jewelry?  Or give me a few tips:)

Crystal point necklace

Much to my disappointment, I can't get hold of anymore of these crystal point pendants until December!  Only one more going in the shop tonight!

Nothin' on You...

Easing into the weekend listening to this over and over with my music obsessed 2 year old: Nothin' on You featuring Bruno Mars right now.  You could say we're a bit hooked onto the infectious summer beat.

What are your plans this weekend?  We're aiming to get here: Walkway over the Hudson.  I think we've gotten a little 'railroad' obsessed this summer after finally getting over to see the incredible High Line, in NYC last month!

For those that ordered items from the store during opening week- I'm planning a huge packing and  shipping day shortly, so you should get your goodies soon!  Totally appreciate your patience!

New blog to love...

Just got the sweetest email from an admirer who wrote to let me know she had posted my work on her blog.  It's always flattering when people feature you on their own blog, but Andrea's blog is extra special, dreamy, and visually elegant.

I love the picture she placed my druzy pieces against:

Macha Jewels

I'm such a huge fan of Bernice Kelly's Macha jewelry line, that when I first saw the collection about a year ago, I fell hard.  Her signature 'rough hewn' look just speaks of an authenticity that seems so elusive these days.  First, The Rockwell Line took my breath away, and now this:

Part tribal, part ancient, part Stonehenge, don't they just command your attention? Fierce yet beautiful, they barely look designed, more like they just 'crystallized' or were a result of an accident.

You might like to check out her website, which has some great collages by design team Paper Whistle:
