Shoes

These caught my eye recently.  Love for their simplicity and alien like shape manipulation:

Acne and United Nude respectively.

Amy

Completely gutted that Amy Winehouse is no more...

I was so rooting for her, hoping that she got it together, hoping to hear one more song.

Wave Hill

Incredible Wave Hill:  In the Bronx, on the Hudson, across the NJ Palisades- we spend lots of weekends there, never getting over the beauty...

The weekend: The High Line

We went for a Saturday walk along the newly extended High Line, which was totally crowded but complete heaven despite that.  Perfect sun, a breeze, tall grasses and wild flowers tucked between old factories, modern apartment buildings and office buildings.  You just have to be prepared to share this lovely place with a few thousand other people squeezed into the narrow space. We walked around The Chelsea Market and had lunch at Bill's Bar & Burgers on 13th St which was so, so- not somewhere I would run to again to eat, but the place itself had charm: a stripped down ex-industrial look, murals, scrawly drawings on walls.  Hope your weekend was great too!

Looks I love...

Don't these images just make you want to break out some vivid colour?  They do me. I've been rotating three tees- all in varying degrees of saturated orange rather heavily since summer began.
