My new Essimar print

I've been a fan of Esther's work from way back when I first discovered her over on Etsy.  So I have no idea what took me so long to finally purchase something from her!  In a spot above my bed now hangs 'Eli':

I love peering into the room as I go by, just to catch that shot of colour!  I framed it in a simple white square frame from West Elm, and it adds just that small burst of colour that I wanted to introduce to the bedroom.  If you're a lover of brilliant colour, you should pop into her store  where she sells her intricately cutout cards as well as a few other screenprints, of which Lagris, below has always been my favorite.

 





At $400, it is definitely out of my buying realm!

On the shop front, I've been busy designing a few new pieces and updated old designs.  Things were a little slow for me last month as my lovely MIL who watches my little one while I work, was on vacation visiting wonderful Australia and New Zealand!  The girls now have fluffy koala's and and kangaroo's to add to their stuffed toy menagerie!

If you peek into my favorites list in my Etsy account, you'll notice that I've been adding lots of photographs lately,  because I'm searching for the perfect picture for my bedroom (that I'm finally fixing little by little).

I think I may just how found that picture!  'Picture' could quite easily become 'pictures' because all of Elizabeth Sarah's  leave me speechless.  I can't even pick a favorite, but this could be just what I've been searching for:

Something altogether magical about this.

Etsy discoveries

My favorite nightly activity must be exploring the vintage section of Etsy...in fact it's getting to be a bad habit. I thought I'd share some of tonights highlights, starting  with shop Search and Rescue:

Not sure of the seller's real name, but in all seriousness, she must be the Anna Della Russo of British Columbia.  Love the deadpan expressions and  priceless pictures!

Continuing with the accidental 'pink theme', I found this fabulous pink lucite necklace in this shop: Mascara Jones

I'm getting over a nasty cold virus- hence the quiet round here.  Forgot how really awful a cold is as I haven't had one in years....

A 60's moment

I have a definite weakness for all things 60's.
Not sure where I spotted this, but it's lovely head to toe.

Vintage Chanel perfume bottle

I felt a definite twinge of excitement when I came across this handsome looking shop on Etsy: Mademoiselle Chipotte, based in Belgium.

I spent a great deal of my spare time digging through charity stores and second hand markets in London, where I grew up- so I've always held old things dear.  These empty vintage Chanel perfume bottles are exquisite, as is the photograph of them- they took my heart away! 

Perhaps Mademoiselle Chipotte would like to photograph my jewelry?  Or give me a few tips:)
